Is a VI Peel Right for You?
VI Peels work on all skin types and tones, which makes them one of the most versatile treatments we offer. That said, there are a few things to flag before you book.
Let your esthetician know if any of these apply to you:

Your esthetician will review everything with you before your treatment to make sure it’s the right fit. VI Peels can be received every 4 weeks. How many treatments you need depends on your skin and your goals. Your esthetician will help you map out a plan that makes sense for you.

Days 1-2
Your skin may feel tight and look slightly flushed right after treatment. This is normal and settles quickly.
Days 2-4
Peeling begins, usually starting around the mouth and forehead. This is the process working. Don't pick or peel.
Day 7+
Peeling completes, and fresher, smoother skin reveals itself. Most clients see a visible difference within seven days.
Results can last months to years, depending on your skin, the area treated, and the formula used. With regular treatments, results tend to improve and last longer over time as your skin's renewal process gets back on track. Does a VI Peel hurt?
The VI Peel is the first virtually pain-free medium-depth chemical peel. Most clients feel a mild tingling sensation during the treatment. It’s much more comfortable than you’d expect from a peel at this depth.
Will I peel after my treatment?
Yes. Peeling typically begins within two to three days and completes within about a week. It’s part of the process: your skin sheds the damaged outer layer to reveal fresher skin underneath. Your esthetician will provide specific aftercare instructions to help you manage it comfortably.
Can I wear makeup after my VI Peel?
We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment, and keeping things minimal while your skin is actively peeling. Your esthetician will give you a full aftercare guide before you leave.
How many treatments do I need?
It depends on your skin and what you’re treating. Some clients see the results they’re looking for after one peel. Others benefit from a series. Your esthetician will discuss a realistic plan with you during your appointment.
Is the VI Peel safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. The VI Peel is formulated to work safely across all skin types and tones, including Fitzpatrick skin types IV-VI. If you have specific concerns, mention them when you book.
Can I combine a VI Peel with other treatments?
In some cases, yes. Your esthetician will let you know which combinations are safe and what timing makes sense for your skin.
