How do I prepare for my appointment?
Stop using waterproof mascara at least three days before your appointment and skip the eyelash curler. On the day of, come in without eye makeup so your esthetician can work on a clean canvas. You may also want to skip contact lenses and avoid caffeine for a few hours beforehand.
How long do results last?
It depends on the treatment. A lash lift and brow lamination each last four to six weeks. Tinting lasts two to three weeks, following your natural hair growth cycle. Your esthetician will give you a realistic timeline based on your hair type at your appointment.
What should I avoid after my treatment?
For the first 24 hours, keep the area dry and skip makeup, strenuous exercise, and oil-based cleansers. With tinting, avoid chlorine exposure and heavy base makeup for at least 12 hours. Your esthetician will walk you through everything before you leave.
Can I combine treatments?
Yes. A lash lift and tint is a popular combination, and brow lamination pairs well with a brow tint. Ask your esthetician what makes sense for your look and your schedule.
Is brow lamination a good alternative to microblading?
It depends on what you’re going for. Brow lamination is non-invasive and temporary, which makes it a great option if you want fuller, more defined brows without any commitment. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique. If you’re on the fence, lamination is a good place to start.
